The Tunnel to Towers Foundation is a charitable organization founded in tribute to New York Fire Department firefighter Stephen Siller, who was killed on September 11, 2001, during the September 11 attacks on the Twin Towers. Today, the foundation operates as a non-profit organization and helps families of September 11, first responders and American military veterans rebuild through U.S. nationwide fundraising, programs and partnerships. In December 2024, longstanding partner, the New York Jets, and Tunnel to Towers, honored the service of Army Sergeant First Class Steven Lewis on-field as the Veteran of the Game. Beyond the public recognition and outpouring of service gratitude from game fans, he and his family were surprised with a mortgage free custom-built smart home, courtesy of Tunnel to Towers Foundation.
